We love a classic here at the Glacé Film Club and this episode is another one of the times where Callum and Marcus indulge in some vintage cinema. Released in 1942, “Casablanca” has long been lauded as one of the greatest films of all time.
Set during the Second World War, “Casablanca” gives a peek into a unique wartime setting within Morocco where enemies of the time live side by side. The iconic location of Rick’s Café Américain is the focal point of the film where refugees try to find their route out of North Africa and eventually to America. This is a ferocious plot that has all the elements of a gripping story.
Does this film still stand the test of time? The Glacé Film Club guys are about to let you know.
