One Night In Miami is the film in focus in the latest episode of The Glacé Film Club. Adapted from a play, the 2020 release directed by Regina King depicts a fictionalised meeting between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown and Sam Cooke.
The film explores the racial tensions within America during the 1960s through the intense and insightful conversations between the four characters. With a very unique style, One Night In Miami uses its fictionalised settings to imagine what an interaction between these historical figures would look like and how their views related to the wider civil rights movement.
As always, Callum and Marcus get stuck into all elements of the film. They always have plenty to say and this episode is no different.
