TravelTek create technology used by the travel industry. It’s that simple. In the tech industry change happens quickly and there are often new innovations and developments that need to be communicated with relevant stakeholders.

In many instances, the most effective way to communicate this changes is by getting those who know most about them to talk about them. That’s why when TravelTek had a lot to communicate, they came to us to make sure their knowledgeable team members could share that knowledge as effectively as possible.

The Project Brief

Over the course of a day at TravelTek HQ in Glasgow, we needed to capture a suite of videos featuring all senior leadership members and key team leaders. The videos had to be interview-based so each individual could talk about the changes and developments that had happened in their area of expertise in the previous year.

The interviews needed to be cut with b roll footage that included all team members at their head office and provided an overall view of the team behind the TravelTek brand.

The resulting edits would be

  • 10x Formal corporate interview videos
  • 5x Informal corporate conversational videos

How We Approached It

We split the interview styles into two. Firstly, more formal corporate interviews were filmed. These were longer interviews with senior leadership, allowing them to talk in detail about their area of expertise. Secondly, using a more casual handheld camera style, informal chats with other team members captured quick company insights and updates.

With all of the team available in the office, we blocked out time in the filming day to capture as much quality b roll as possible. This included team meetings, candid chats and individuals at their desks working. This was cut together with the interview footage to produce the final 15 videos.

The End
Result

TravelTek were provided a bank of videos that featured all key members of the team who shared important company updates ranging across all sections of the business.

The balance between formal and informal interview styles meant the videos had a wide-ranging use across different social media platforms, corporate communications and internal comms.

One day of filming resulted in detailed coverage of the business’s annual updates.
