Yes you read it correctly, Callum Hyde’s and Marcus Johnson’s brand of film dissection, which listeners and viewers are usually treated to via The Glacé Film Club podcast, can now join their ongoing lives of film analysis on the ever-popular social platform, Letterboxd.
The Glacé Film Club podcast features regular reviews of films new and old, where Callum and Marcus use the film as a platform to discuss the themes and ideas it puts forward.
On top of this, listeners and viewers get to hear the insights of individuals within the world of independent filmmaking. Guests such as Patrick Fabian (actor), Neil Jeram-Croft (Festival Director of Manchester Film Festival) and animated filmmaker Gabi Bania give insight into the grassroots world of indie filmmaking and what it takes to get a film up on the big screen.
For those wanting to join Callum and Marcus on Letterboxd, their regular film reviews can be found on their GLACEFILMCLUB Letterboxd account. As well as the films they review on the podcast, all their day-to-day film viewings and movie thoughts will be shared on their account.
Beyond Letterboxd, The Glacé Film Club will be once again partnering with Worcester Film Festival in September to provide the official podcast coverage of the event.
